
Like the pelvic floor, the psoas touches, impacts and communicates many things in the body. Sometimes called a “messenger” and often called the most important muscle in the body. More than a muscle, many believe it is impacted by physical and emotional trauma and sends messages to the central nervous system.
Anatomically, the psoas impacts the position of your hips, pelvis, entire spine and ribs. Because it’s such a deep, internal muscle, it has an intimate relationship with the kidneys, digestion and breathing.
